Fundraising
Our mission is to provide support and information for those affected by neuroendocrine tumours, to raise awareness of the disease, and to fund research projects. We aim to fund research projects that will help:
- To enable doctors to arrive at a more accurate diagnosis through the development of more effective scans and tests, and by raising awareness of the disease throughout the medical profession.
- To expand and improve on current treatment options
- To ensure that current treatments are being implemented to provide the best therapeutic benefit
- To provide the best possible long-term care for patients.
In order for the NET Patient Foundation to continue to provide support and information to patients and the wider public, and to increase the levels of funding for vital research, we are hoping to raise £1 million by Spring 2010.
We will be hosting a ball, at which we will hope to raise the profile of Neuroendocrine Tumours, as well as a significant amount of money.
