NET Expertise
Because of their relative rarity and diverse sets of symptoms, the diagnosis and treatment of Neuroendocrine Tumours require a multidisciplinary approach. This means that specialists from different fields – endocrinology, gastroenterology, oncology, surgery, radiology, nuclear medicine, genetics, pathology, and nursing – may all be involved in the treatment of NET patients.
It is for this reason that a number of multidisciplinary teams and clinics centred on NETs have been set up around the UK and Ireland. To find your local team, click here .

The UK and Ireland Neuroendocrine Tumour Society (UKINETS) aims to promote research, education, training and best clinical practice in the field of endocrine tumours. UKINETS has amongst its members leading specialists from many different areas of medical practice to promote multidisciplinary collaborations.
ENETS is the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society, which has similar aims to UKINETS, on a European-wide scale.
