What is the Royal Free Quiet Cancer Appeal?
This appeal was set up with the aid of Sir Peter Stothard, who himself wrote about his own experience of being diagnosed with a NET in the Sunday Times. Sir Peter published his story for the a Christmas appeal, the response was overwhelming, raising over £175,000.
Another regular contributor to the Quiet Cancer Appeal is Peter Gwilliam in memory of his late wife, a former patient, Liddy Oldroyd.
