Snooker Marathon – May 15th 2007
A charity supporter staged a snooker tournament at Riley’s Snooker Club in Folkestone, Kent on Saturday 26 May and raised £200. This amount has now been matched by Saga, the holiday and insurance company.

Steve Thompson White, a sales consultant with Saga the holiday and insurance company, paid for three trophies and had them inscribed.
The event is designed to keep the memory of Paul Hunter alive, he said. But it is also a way of raising money for the NET Patient Foundation.
Mr Thompson White has said that all proceeds from the event would come to the charity. He is planning a further snooker tournament in the summer, and a pool event. As an avid fund raiser he said he has ambitions to run the London Marathon in 2008.
Congratulations and thanks Steve. You are inspiration to other fund raisers. The NET Patient Foundation Team
